I can not get my Epson printers, 900 or R800 to work since moving to 10.4.x. I tried all the tricks suggested by Epson support and Apple forums. On the 900 it fills the spool and stops, on the R800, the blue progress bar just continues forever. Eventually the printer utility stops responding, force quit leaves the utility in the dock. Trying to run the print utility again cause error 600. I have to reboot to get utility restored. Permission were 'fixed' dozens of times, printer resets dozens of times, plist delete dozens of times. I ran out of options. All the printers worked fine under 10.3. I so wish I could go back to 10.3.8. It was solid. The toys of 10.4 have not shown value only lots of frustration. Help.
